A water plant manager should have a higher or BSC national diploma or degree in chemical engineering. In addition, a water plant manager must hold sound hands-on training, which includes computer-based training, and water plant and water analysis lab training. Also, training in water treatment is essential. Five years of experience in chemical processing and water treatment plant is must.
