****Job Description Summary
Operates and maintains water/wastewater treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment in water/wastewater treatment facility to purify water to meet permit and operational requirements. Presently looking for second shift coverage, 4 PM - midnight, Monday - Friday. 12 hour shifts will be
required in the future.
Primary Duties /  Responsibilities
Monitoring equipment operation including pumps, chemical feed systems, filters, and other water systems.
Take samples, follow standard operating procedures, work as a team player and independently as needed.
Take readings, record data as required.
Perform housekeeping duties and light maintenance on piping and equipment.
Calibrate simple monitoring equipment per procedure.
Qualifications Education / Experience / Background
High School diploma or GED
This is an entry level position. Experience is not necessary; candidate will be trained on the job requirements and process operations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Candidate must have a good work ethic, a mechanical aptitude and be willing to learn process control of chemical treatment systems in an industrial setting.
Candidate must be safety conscious and be able to follow directions.
Candidate should be self-motivated.
