HDR is looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Group team in Raleigh, Charlotte, or Winston-Salem, NC with a technical background in water and wastewater utility relocation and coordination, particularly on NCDOT projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects through planning, design and construction phases.  They will need to be skilled in planning studies, field alignment studies, coordinating with sub-consultants and utility owners, preparing preliminary and final design, drawing preparation coordination, developing technical specifications, and performing office and field services during construction.  They will also be expected to direct production staff and perform client management activities to support our Carolinas based Water/Wastewater team.

BS in Civil Engineering required
PE required
8 years of water/wastewater project experience, primarily focused on utility relocation design and coordination
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred
Must have excellent communication skills and thrive working in a team environment
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
