The primary duties of the Water Resources Engineer are to provide project engineering and task management; conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; conduct storm water collection systems modeling and design; design fish passage culverts; collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos and public forums; lead production of design calculations and technical reports; and lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications. Will work independently as well as plan, organize, and assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/task. Will conduct water resources planning, plan formulation, concept development, and develop planning documentation.
BSCE required, MS degree preferred.
8 years of experience in water resources engineering projects is required.
PE license required.
Experience with WWHM, MGS Flood, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, PC-SWMM, HSPF, and Arc GIS
Experience in LID/GSI BMP design preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
