The Waste Water Technician is responsible for carrying out the routine operational and maintenance, environmental and safety duties as assigned. This position requires an ability to follow instructions consistently and to communicate effectively so that all activities are aligned with the desires of the Lead Operator and / or Plant Leadership team. Over time may be required at times and the shift schedule may vary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Complete work sheets and forms clearly and consistentlyGather and assist with evaluating samples (as assigned)Assist and / or manage the off-loading of chemical treatment products (as assigned)Keep the work area cleanBe diligent in general house-keepingPerform cleanings of wastewater process equipment (as assigned)Monitor the operation of all ww wastewater processing equipment Maintain the operational performance of the wastewater equipmentMake operational adjustments within the GROWS facility as specifically assigned and directedIdentify and report operating anomalies to the Lead Operator and / or the Maintenance LeadDirect and assist with the operation of the sludge transfer and dewatering systems Be able to conduct basic laboratory tests to evaluate water samples (as directed)
','!*!Education and Experience Requirements:
Prefer 1 years of previous wastewater operations experience, with the ability to receive Pennsylvania C1 license within 24 months of employment
Strong mechanical aptitude is required
Due to the physical requirements of this position a favorable results from a physical agility test in addition to favorable results from a drug screen and background check are required
