Job Description
Dewberry is currently seeking an Early Career Water Resources Engineer to join our Gainesville, VA office to perform water resources engineering related work. Individual will perform preliminary and final design of water resources infrastructure projects including stormwater management facilities, best management practices, dams & reservoirs, stormwater conveyance systems and stream/outfall restoration. Individual will also perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and computations for storm water management and watershed master planning, floodplain studies, dam break studies, stream restoration, and water quality studies.

Required Skills & Required Experience
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required, Master's degree preferred.
0-2 years of experience preferred, working in a similar role.
Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and stormwater management, floodplain and dam safety
Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
Previous internship(s) preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Proficiency in MS Office software.
Ability to work in a team environment.
