POSITION SUMMARY: This position is the location-specific point of contact for all operations sanitation compliance as defined in corporate Quality Procedures - Sanitation, while supervising hourly production employeesu00a0in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinating all sanitation review and related activities with chemical supplier. Documenting and communicating CIP changes as appropriate. Coordinating, documenting and conducting sanitation-related employee training as required. Coordinating all shift activities including the supervision of production employees as assigned. Overseeing manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are being met. Overseeing manufacturing process to ensure safety standards are being met. Documenting and reporting on all related manufacturing processes as appropriate. Ensuring that all production employees are appropriately trained for the jobs they are performing. Ensuring that a smooth transition takes place between shifts. Participating on assigned projects, teams and in meetings as appropriate. Maintaining and controlling departmental supplies, tools and equipment as assigned. Ensuring the completion of all required production paperwork including, records, inventory, inspection, sanitation reports, processing/CIP charts and maintenance work orders. Ensuring compliance and administration of assigned company policies and procedures, including safety-related policies and standards.u00a0 Being actively involved in safety efforts including, attending safety meetings, incident investigations, assisting in root cause analysis, auditing, as assigned. Regular and punctual attendance and physical presence in the workplace. Timely and accurate completion of duties. Occasional travel for work, up to 33% of the time. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: This position requires an Associate Degree in dairy manufacturing or related field of study and three to five years of job-related experience. The preferred education and experience is a Bachelor Degree in dairy manufacturing or related field of study, knowledge related to the job and three to five years of job-related experience.
