Dewberry is currently seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2022 in our Greenwood Village, CO office. Typical projects involve helping local, state, and federal clients complete stormwater management, floodplain management and other watershed planning projects.

Responsibilities

Create and analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models. 
Conduct storm water and watershed master planning, stream restoration, and water quality studies.
Drainage design, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and floodplain analysis.
Assist team with the generation of construction documents for water resource projects.

Required Skills & Required Experience

Pursuing a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics.
Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
Familiarity with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, CUHP, and SWMM is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office software.
Familiarity with GIS Applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to work in a team environment.

*The hourly range for this position is $14-$26.
