We have an immediate opening in our Texas area for a Senior Pump Station and Pipeline Engineer to help our Texas team build on decades of successful water project delivery.\u00a0The optimal candidate will be responsible as a leader in our Texas area (Austin, Dallas, or San Antonio, TX) providing project planning, design, and construction administration support for conveyance, transmission and pumping system projects for water and wastewater facilities. This role will also provide technical support and coordination within our Texas\/Mountain Region. A Texas Professional Engineer registration is required. Position Description: Project Management or Project Technical Leadership including implementation of project setup and planning, quality control processes, adherence to project scope schedule and budget; Lead project teams to evaluate, plan, design and rehabilitate municipal water and wastewater pumping, lift station and conveyance pipelines; Lead the development of hydraulic analysis for pressure and non-pressure systems; Participate in client service activities including opportunity development proposal preparation and verifying scope of work completed as required; Lead the development of planning and design documents including reports, plans, specifications, and anticipated construction costs; and, Assist in proposal development, project identification and general client service management. Job Requirements Education Required: Bachelor of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Masters of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is highly desirable Skills Required:\u00a0 Project Manager\/Technical Leader with experience at minimum in the key focus areas: Planning, design and rehabilitation of water pumping and wastewater lift stations including the development of construction bid documents; Planning, design and rehabilitation of pressurized and non-pressurized pipeline systems including, permitting, and right-of-way analysis for the development of construction bid documents; Experience in the interpretation and implementation of design development standards such as AWWA\/ANSI\/HI; Ability to lead a team of design engineers throughout the project lifecycle; Strong understanding of hydraulic analysis for pressure and non-pressurized systems. Transient and CFD modeling experience a plus; Construction Management including engineering services during construction, site construction observation, startup and training; Operations review and troubleshooting of existing facility operation. Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in planning, design and construction management services for pumping stations, lift stations, transmission, distribution and conveyance systems \u2013 minimum 5 years in Texas; Key business development skills and ability to grow and foster client relationshipsStrong written and verbal skills;Registered Professional Engineer in Texas;Project Management Professional Certification;Knowledge and Experience with Autodesk and Bentley design tools desirable; and,Active with professional societies and industry development, including technical publications and presentations.
