AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Water & Wastewater Infrastructure Engineer for employment in our Buffalo, NY office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Support and potentially lead project teams on the design of water wastewater systems
Preparation of; project reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans and specifications, permitting packages, and documents for inclusion in the final project deliverable necessary for the bidding and construction of designed work
Prepares Plans and reviews detailed Designs and Technical Specifications as part of contract document preparation
Supports Marketing of clients and development of proposals for service
Verifies that applicable codes and engineering standards practices are being met
Involved with professional organizations including AWWA and WEF
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
5 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure engineering
Excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with technicians, designers, engineers and project managers for the preparation of high quality work products
Valid driver's license
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Master's degree in Civil Engineering
10 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure engineering and design
Professional Engineer in NY or ability to obtain within 12 months from hire
AutoCAD skills, particularly civil 3-D
