WSSI is seeking a mid-level civil/environmental or biological engineer with a passion for wetlands, streams, and water resources. Projects include floodplain studies, dam safety analysis, low impact development, stormwater retrofits, and stream restoration. Ideal candidate will have from five to eight years of experience, PE (or EIT with ability to sit for exam within one year of starting), and experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and TR-55. Preference will be given to candidates with Rosgen (or equivalent) stream assessment and restoration training or significant floodplain analysis/FEMA LOMC processing. While an engineering background is preferred, candidates with a background in environmental science, landscape architecture, and/or hydrology and the technical ability to perform the aforementioned tasks will also be considered. Experience working with a diverse client base in both the public and private sectors is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree required.
