Contribute to the North Lake Tahoe community & join our quasi-municipality providing recreation & utility (water, sewer, trash) services for Incline Village & Crystal Bay, Nevada. Hiring team member to operate & maintain the District's Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), Burnt Cedar Water Disinfection Plant (BCWDP), all Pumping Stations, Reservoirs & Wetlands Enhancement Facility.
Education/Experience & Certifications
HS diploma (GED). A valid Driver’s License & 1 year water/wastewater treatment experience preferred. Obtain within 18 months
from date of hire a Grade I Wastewater Treatment cert. from NV Water Environmental Assoc. (NWEA) & Grade I Water Treatment cert. from NV Division of Environmental Protection
HS Diploma (GED) & 1 year related experience; or equivalent combo. A valid Driver’s License & Grade I Wastewater Treatment cert. from the Nevada Water Environment Assoc. (NWEA) & Grade I Water Treatment cert. from NV Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP). Pump & motor maintenance skills desired.
HS Diploma (GED) & 2 years related water/wastewater treatment experience required. A Valid Driver’s License & Grade II Water/Wastewater Treatment cert. from NV Water Environmental Assoc. (NWEA) & Water Treatment cert. from NV Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP). Pump & motor maintenance skills required.
Other Skills or Abilities
Must be self-motivated & show a high level of initiative. Available for & able to evaluate emergency callouts & to work overtime as required. Excellent customer service, communication (in-person/written) & organizational skills, good math & computer skills. Work courteously & efficiently with the public

Rate OIT Uncertified $21.48 – $30.07/hr, Op I Certified $26.13 – $36.58/hr & Op II Certified $28.51 – $39.91/hr DOE & certs.
