Job Description Summary
Lonza is looking for a National Sales Manager to lead the NAFTA area for sales of the complete portfolio of Bluesense water treatment equipment and analysis devices. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and winning attitude to lead the global strategy in the territory.
Define sales and pricing strategy for dedicated region. Together with the international sales team, deliver sales results that meets or exceed targets
Revenue and margin responsibility for the dedicated region
Monthly & quarterly forecasting, tracking of sales metrics, and reporting to Bluesense Business Manager
Business development, in direct or via recruitment of partners. Develop, manage and expand the distributor network
Oversight of leads and pipeline management in CRM system (Salesforce.com)
Identify and influence the Decision Making process of our potential clients
Prepare and follow up on quotations and tender documents
Support other sales team members and involve internal and external experts when necessary
Support development of new marketing material and tools
Business management experience in water treatment applications, biocide or disinfection market experience preferred.
Experience in sales of water disinfection equipment required.
Adaptive to new accounts and new markets.
Chemistry or related science degree, advanced degree in business preferred with a wide range of business experience.
Flexible, team oriented but able to work independently.
Must be proficient in English. Bilingual is a plus
Excellent sales, negotiation and influencing skills.
Office or home-office Environment (TBD).
Travel 50%, domestic and international.
Overtime and potential weekend commitments.
