The Inside Sales Representative for Watts Water Quality (WWQ) will be responsible for working with the Sales teams and with other stakeholders during the Inquiry To Order (ITO) activity and will prepare accurate full technical/commercial proposals per customer RFQ's, using competitive WWQ solutions in products and services with the prime objective to win contracts and maximize business objectives in order to meet both customer and business expectations. Provide technical influence to customer RFQ's along with Sales team to maximize return to the business. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Leadership and execution of the Commercial Process. Proposal development Screening and bounding Watts Water Quality sales opportunities Assists with formulation of pricing strategies Help to manage opportunity forecasting Manage risk, Contract evaluation Work closely with Sales to grow market and margins expansion based on the business strategy Coordinate efforts by working with Applications Engineering, Sales, product managers, finance, Compliance, legal, Export Controls (if required), manufacturing scheduling, procurement and product support Support the development of the Watts Water Quality platform strategy with the Sales team, incorporate proposals across the entire business Maintain up to date info on the opportunity funnel, and work with sales and management to focus on key opportunities for the business Integrate activities and functions in support of the business orders, sales, and margin objectives. Analysis of third-party product and technical solutions and learning other technologies and areas of expertise. Self-directed in searching for technical solutions Take customer needs/requirements & develop proposals for a product, services, and technical solution. Work as a key member of the commercial team in support of achieving the team's orders, sales, and margin targets. Coordinate internal reviews and drive a contract risk management process. Prepare and deliver presentations to key leadership regarding proposed deals. Monitor deliverables' status and communicate the bid status internally. Ensure successful, timely completion of requirements through effective coordination of internal and external stakeholder activities. Coordinate customer contracts review and documentation before acceptance and transfer to order entry team and engineering execution team EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering MANAGEMENT: None QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the water or plumbing industry Technically oriented individual Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into business solutions Ability to work under pressure Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial program commitments and expectations with customers, internally and externally; Credible self-starter and self-motivator Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills Coordination and influencing skills Strong team player, work ethic and committed to the job Strong written and verbal communication skills; Good organizational skills Travel Required: 10% PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
