Responsible for adjusting, testing, and running close tolerances of \/- or better of .20 and thicker material. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time. Operate forklift, as needed. Observes all safety and security procedures. Follows instructions, responds to management direction and completes tasks on time. Monitors the maintenance of equipment in department to meet work schedule and perform housekeeping duties utilizing 5S principles. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time. Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times. Maintain safe working practice's and insure area is clean and free of any possible unsafe situations. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS U.S. Person status required due to export control. One or more years of experience setting up and operating water jet. One or more years of experience in water jet programming preferred. Must be able to competently set up and run a water jet. The ability to become certified and operate a forklift. Strong PC skills required including proficiency with MS Office. Knowledge concerning mechanical principle, machining practices, the properties of metals and the application of mathematics and dimensions to precision fabrication is desired. Attention to detail. Adaptable to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace. Accepting of criticism and ability to deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations. Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Ability to identify, organize, estimate and recognize differences or similarities. Ability to communicate in English through voice, American Sign Language or adaptive technology.\u00a0 EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE H.S. Diploma\/GED equivalent. OMAX Certification.
