Job DescriptionThe water mitigation technician will be responsible for performing fire and water mitigation work as further described below.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesRespond to emergency calls/be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a yearPerform and sometimes supervise a water damage assignmentBe familiar with all IICRC S500 StandardsLearn basic aspects of all restoration type assignmentsCommunicate details of all assignments such as detailed drawings, moisture mapping, temperature readings, dehumidifier readings, customer concerns and requestsPhysically fit with no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and/or conditions with the work environments customary for this type of work.RequirementsMinimum High School Diploma3 years’ experience in water mitigation in in the past 5 yearsComputer literate with knowledge and experience with MS Outlook, MS Word, MS ExcelPass drug screening and criminal background checkClean driving record and eligibility to drive company vehiclesObtain and maintain IICRC Certifications (WRT, CCT, ASD)Have reliable transportationAvailability to respond to 24 hour emergencies or mitigation callsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of timeAbility to travel up and down laddersAbility to lift up to 75lbs on a regular basisAbility to work in high places and in tight spacesCapable of working in fire, smoke and/or water damage environments that have potential for mold & mildewCompany DescriptionTRC is a restoration contractor that has been serving the DFW area since 1964.
