Job Description
S tarting Hourly Rate: $13.33
Nature of Work:
To perform a wide range of routine and non-routine administrative duties and support programs for the Water Treatment Services Unit, including; managing administrative projects, document and information distribution, coordinate and drive forward projects and programs with management and technical staff, collaborate to establish and meet project and program deadlines, and support communication programs.
Job responsibilities:
Administrative support to managers and staff, manages projects, communication to team, create and maintain policies and procedures, manage calendars, organize meetings on and off-site, record meeting minutes, create and maintain forms and correspondence.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma/GED. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and accuracy; demonstrate outstanding customer service to the public as well as other City co-workers; demonstrate well-developed organizational and time management skills, demonstrate clear, concise verbal and written communication; office information technology; coordinate multiple duties; meet deadlines under pressure timely and accurately. Demonstrate the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and interpret City policies. Must be able to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Currently enrolled in a college or university. 1-2 years of experience in an office environment. 1 year of customer service experience.

Move and lift light objects less than 20 lbs such as mail, files and supplies. Operating office equipment requiring continuous or repetitive hand/arm movements. The ability to remain in a sitting position for extended periods of time.
Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
