HDR is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager to lead project and task-level management activities, as well as project engineering, design, and planning in the development and analysis of water resources projects. Specific duties may include: review of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling results to assess project impacts to floodplains; conduct analyses to develop alternatives, design options, or recommendations for water resource projects; channel stabilization and restoration analysis and design; sanitary and stormwater sewer analysis and design; assist in the preparation of reports, cost estimates, design drawings, and specifications for water resources related projects; and collect, assimilate, and present data in technical and non-technical reports. Assist with marketing and business development activities, interact with clients, and lead strategic initiatives. Individual should be able to work independently as well as plan, organize, and assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians.
','!*!Required Qualifications
• BS Civil Engineering, BS Biological Systems Engineering or related field required (MS preferred).
• PE required.
• 12 years Water Resources engineering/planning experience.
• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and software including experience with: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS. Innovyze, SWMM
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
